Taking a Break

Gonna put blogging on hold for a bit. So I'm putting up this post just as a heads up to you guys who are awesome followers of my blog but keep checking back only to find nothing new. LOL. Will resume blogging when I'm back in Malaysia for the holidays!

Praise at Encounter 2009

Here are a couple of one-minute clips of some of the Praise sessions. Sound quality isn't fantastic, but yeah, just something to show off the massiveness of the whole conference! It was electric!

Encounter 2009

Encounter 2009 that was held over the course of the past three days was the first conference I have ever attended. And man am I glad that it's with my time here at Hillsong Church.

For those of you who do not know what Encounter is, it is just simply the Youth Conference that's held annually out at the Hills campus of Hillsong Church. Since I was on the volunteer team, it was my first time working with the young people of our church. Only difference about the young people here is that they still tower over me in size. Heh heh heh. Ah, and how I have learned so much during the past three days. And honestly, it feels really feels great to be a part of changing the lives of so many young people on such a large scale.

500 Days of Summer

I watched this last night. It made me leave the cinema with a silly smile that lasted me a good few hours. It's one of those better romantic comedies. And for your information, it's NOT a chick-flick. Easily the best movie of the year for me.. so far!

ps: Zooey Deschanel is so pretty!

What's Cookin'?

It's always tough to think of what to cook for dinner every night. To all of you who are living on your own, do you guys have that problem? In MY case, sometimes...

When the rules of breakfast and dinner no longer apply..
Or when I'm feeling particulary Italian..
When I feel like eating kiddy food all over again..
I AM Chinese right?
When American Idol is playing!
When I have too much free time..
AND of course, when I run out of food there's ALWAYS..
